FEAT4EVER

We are a non-profit organization founded in 2017. The purpose of this organization is to bring students together to help our community thrive.

Together, we can make a difference
FEAT4EVER

We care. We innovate. We educate.

FEED

We serve meals and sponsor meal programs at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen. In addition, we pack non-perishable food items and snacks as a part of CARE packages and delivery it to homeless families in our community.

EDUCATE

During summer, we work along with Youngscholarsoftrenton.org to tutor children from Trenton schools to prevent the “summer slump.” 4-5 tutors student volunteers from local high schools participate to help the children.   Learn More...

THRIVE

  • Thriving requires independence and innovation. Our solution MIDAS(link to MIDAS page) is currently being expanded to support multiple charities.   Learn More...

Feed

Our Feed program is intended to provide a nutritious meal for individuals and families in the Mercer County area. The program initially started with a focus on feeding children, but upon doing some research around the food insecurity problem in our community, it was expanded to both adults and children.

The number of people with food insecurity – meaning not knowing where their next meal will come from – is about 40,000 just in our Mercer County. Out of this, 25% (10,000) are children who are below 16 years of age. The beneficiaries are a combination of homeless members, people with a low or unstable income, and others who are unable to manage the rising costs. The problem of food insecurity affects the ability of younger children to focus on their homework and learning.

Become a volunteer to raise funds or to serve meals. Give us suggestions to support areas that are currently undersupported.

Educate

To FEAT, education is about instilling curiosity in young minds and allowing them to ask the questions. Understanding how something works brings the real joy of learning!

The mentorship program has 4 members and we meet weekly to discuss current events and engage in STEM projects.

The group has 4 students now and meets every Sunday at the Mercer County Library.
The sessions have three parts:
*  The first part is Week in Review, where the latest news items and world events are discussed.
*  The second part is Ask a Question, where students can ask anything that they are curious about

such as  how does a traffic light work or what is Anti Lock System in cars.
*  The third and most interesting part is working on STEM projects. Every child gets an electronics kit

and we work on assembling different circuits. I look to expand this to many more students in the
    months to come.

We are looking for volunteers to become mentors. This will be a year-long commitment to support and guide their mentees.
